Obituary of John Forsdike

Forsdike, John Philip of Aylmer passed away at his home on Sunday, January 24, 2016 in his 71st year. Beloved husband and world travelling companion of Barbara Anne (McGrenere) Forsdike. Dear father of William Forsdike(Danielle) of Aylmer, Michael Forsdike(Nathalie) of Milton, Thomas Forsdike(Evelyn) of Woodstock. Loving grandfather of Cole, Connor and Claire. Also survived by a brother Jim Forsdike(Barbara), a sister Mary Cole(Brian), a special niece Valerie and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Toronto, Ontario on September 5, 1945, son of the late Phillip and Nora (Tomsett) Forsdike. John graduated from the University of Western Ontario and played hockey for the London Nationals. He taught at East Elgin Secondary School. John was a volunteer exercise instructor for the V.O.N. and coached Aylmer Minor Hockey. John was a member of the Aylmer Curling Club, Aylmer Police Services Board, the Aylmer Horticultural Society and he was a former Rotarian. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 28 at 11 am. Cremation.
