This is very sad news. Mr. Forsdike was one my favourite teachers in high school. He made learning enjoyable and easy. I think of him often and wish he could have taught my kids and grandkids. His easy going attitude made him a teacher all the students could talk to. He left a positive mark on many people throughout his life and will be greatly missed.

Dear Barb and Family: I have fond memories of John as my teacher and friend. Many mornings during high school I walked with John to school. He always encouraged me to go for my educational dreams. While babysitting for the boys I got to see another side of John as a father and husband. He was a good man and father. I know he will be missed greatly by all of you. May God's peace and comfort surround you during your grief.

Since I will be out of town just wanted the family to know how much J.P.as I often called him helped me through high school and even after. In the somewhat difficult grade nine he was always there in class, on the football field,or even a dance he would have that reassuring tone. Even if he was not a family friend I know that would have done the same,his big smile and advise will be missed at the annual plant sale.Barb,Billy and the family thoughts are with you and you know Stella is also.
