Deepest sympathies Patty and Sandra and family. It was a surprise to see you in the hospital with your mom in the room beside our mom. Little did we realise our dear mother would go first, by almost a week. What happy memories I have of your dear mother as my Guide leader years ago. She was a very kind and considerate mothering person. I am sure you will miss her dearly as you appear to be a very close and devoted family. May all your happy memories of her help to comfort you. Dear Pat and Sandra, Though so many miles separate us, Lesslie and I want you both to know that our thoughts are with you in these difficult days. I know that no words of comfort are quite enough to mitigate your loss. Nevertheless, I hope you will draw strength, as I will, from memories of those cherished times of our youth, during our many visits to Aylmer. I remember the special bond that our mothers seemed to share. That thought inspires me to realize how very blessed we have been.
