Obituary of Mindy Vindasius

Vindasius, Mindy passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday May 3, 2012. Mindy Vindasius of Aylmer in his 66th year. Beloved husband of 43 years of Edie (Halper) Vindasius. Dear father of Mark Vindasius and wife Catarina of Aylmer and Trent Vindasius and wife Jannette of St.Thomas. Loved by his grandchildren Peyton, Quinn and Reed. Special son-in-law of Rose Halper of Aylmer. Brother of Algie Vindasius and wife Cathy of Tillsonburg, Kesty Vindasius and friend Jeanette of Aylmer and Romas Vindasius and wife Debbie of Port Burwell. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Born in Nassjo, Sweden on May 7, 1946 son of the late Vladas (1994) and Elena (Blazyte) (1987) Vindasius. Mindy lived most of his life in Aylmer and retired from Ford Motor Company after 38 years of service. Mindy enjoyed boating, fishing, summers at Long Point and most recently golf. He liked to read and do crossword puzzles but most of all he loved his grandsons and his family. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Aylmer on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
