Obituary of Sam Pettit

Pettit, Sam of Aylmer passed away at his residence on Friday, June 5, 2015. in his 71st year. Beloved husband of 44 years to Marilyn (Phillips) Pettit and loving father of Jason. Dear brother of Don of New Sarum, Dan and wife Janet of St. Thomas and Marilyn Watters and husband John McGregor of R.R.#6, Aylmer. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Marlene Pettit(1950), sister-in-law Julie Pettit(2005). Born in St. Thomas Ontario on November 9, 1944 son of the late Don (2005) and Marion(Garton) Pettit (1988). Sam loved his Harley Davidson and worked at Ford Motor Co. for 30 years. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Orwell Cemetery on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 11:30 am followed by a gathering at the Royal Canadian Legion, Aylmer.
