Obituary of Lillian Leacock

Leacock, It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lillian Mae Leacock in the arms of her family at her residence(Terrace Lodge, Aylmer) on Monday, August 4, 2008 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late George Leacock(1997). Dear mother of Stephen Leacock and wife Florence of Dorchester and Jane Graydon of London. Loving grandmother of Stephen Leacock Jr., Jessica, Emily and James Houlachan and dearest nana of Allison Haldenby and husband Gary and their children, Haley, Olivia, Ethan, Aidan and Moira Haldenby. Sister of Donald Bulloch and June Theoret and sister-in-law of Joan Bulloch. Predeceased by a brother Gordon Bulloch. Born in London on October 15, 1927 daughter of the late Victor and Christine (Lamb) Bulloch. Lillian was a resident of Aylmer since 1950. She was a school teacher at South Dorchester Public School for 35 years and Past President of the Womens' Teacher Federation. She taught Sunday School at St. Paul's United Church was a Past President of the Terrace Lodge Auxilliary. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Donald Graham, officiating.
