Obituary of Jean Driessen

Driessen, at Chateau Gardens, Aylmer on Monday July 28, 2008. Jean Driessen of Aylmer in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Ted Driessen. Dear mother of Marie McDowell and husband Carl of Aylmer, Jeanette Driessen-McCracken of Aylmer, Daniel Driessen of Brownsville, Connie Driessen-Prygos and husband Jim of Locust Hill. Loved by her grandchildren Rory, Deney, Dustin, Quinn, Destiny, Jillian, Xenphon, and Eleni. Also survived by three brothers and four sisters in the Netherlands and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Geraldine, son-in-law Jim McCracken and five brothers. Born in Beesel, The Netherlands on September 7, 1926, daughter of the late Conrardus and Johanna (Van der Velden) Franssen. Jean came to Canada in 1954 and lived in Aylmer and area. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday. The Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.Father Joseph Nevett, officiating.
