Obituary of Ben Wiebe

Wiebe, Bernhard "Ben" of Port Bruce passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, May 21, 2015 in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" Shelley-Wiebe (Shelley-Colpaert). Dear father of Jeremy Lemaire(Karen) of St. Thomas and Jason Lemaire(Ronni) of London. Step-father of Victor Colpaert, Ronnie Shelley(Marg), Janet Stewart(Dave) and Ronda Smith(Kevin). Loving grandfather of Jayme, Kayla, Gage, Jamie, Lisa, Eric, Beth, Allison, Lynzee, Pam, Arren and his fishing partner Kayla. Great-grandfather of Hannah, Kyla, Elese, and Jackson. Dear brother of Henry Wiebe(Margaret), Jake Wiebe(Pam), Elizabeth Klassen(Dave), Sara Peters(Dave), Anita Tennant(Jim), Susan Krahn(George) and Mary Friesen(Pete). Predeceased by sisters Helen Penner and Tina Redekop. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Born in Chihuahua , Mexico on May 14, 1952, son of the late Bernhard and Helen (Fehr) Wiebe. Ben just loved to go fishing. It was his life. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment, Sparta South Cemetery.
