Obituary of Pete Hoffer

Hoffer, Pete of Orwell passed away at his residence peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Joanne Hoffer. Dear father of John Hoffer(Jodi) of St. Thomas, Susan Saker(Mike) of Mt. Brydges, Nancy Hodgkin of Tillsonburg and Janet Verbeeck(John) of 150 Mile House. Loving grandfather of Leticia, Kerri, John, Michaela, Shaylene, Sam, Mathew, Marcus, Andrew and Patrick. Brother of John Hoffer and Paul Hoffer(Linda). Predeceased by sisters Afra Deen, Agatha VanderMolen, Nellie VanDyk and Dora Zegers and brothers Flores, Jim and Case Hoffer. Also survived by and a number of in-laws, nieces and nephews. Born in the Netherlands on August 16, 1939, son of the late John and Helena (Rinkel) Hoffer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Interment-Cremation Queen of Peace Cemetery.
