Walker, Robert James of St.Thomas and formerly Aylmer passed away peacefully at St.Thomas Elgin General, on Sunday, May 10, 2015, in his 82nd year. Loving husband of Barbara Walker. Loving father of Terri Lynne Dean and husband Paul of St. Thomas, Robert Arnold Walker of Burnaby BC, Thomas Walker and wife Lynn of Chilliwack BC, and John Walker and wife Theresa of Oshawa.Loving grandfather of Steve Dean, Rick Dean, Jaydenn Walker and Johnnie Walker. Beloved great-grandfather to Matthew Dean and Emma Dean. Predeceased by his dear brother John Walker (2013) of Aylmer, and beloved sisters Bessie Ruel (2012) of Delhi, Martha Kent (2010) of Stratford, Elizabeth Eveland (2003) of Windsor, Joan Dieleman (2002) of Aylmer, Kathleen Walker (1998) of Aylmer, Mary Andersen (1980) of Galt, and Margaret Walker (1948) of Aylmer. Born in Aylmer Ontario on July 22, 1932, son of the late Robert and Agnes (Ferguson) Walker, the proud Corporal Walker, CD, was a decorated veteran of the Korean War. Always willing to selflessly help a person in need or a cat stuck up a telephone pole, he will be deeply missed.Interment at Aylmer Cemetery. At his request, no services are planned.
