Shackelton, Leone of Goodness Retirement Living, St. Thomas passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, May 10, 2015 in her 89 th year.Beloved wife of the late Ken Shackelton(2012). Loving mother of Jessica Wilson of St. Thomas, Laura Strickler of Woodstock, Sharon Dean and husband Ross of St. Thomas, Brian Shackelton and wife Mary Jane of Springfield and Mark Shackelton and wife Susan of Aylmer. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers John, Chester and Charles Silverthorn and sisters Edyth Lindsay and Kae Simpson. Born in Ingersoll Ontario on September 17, 1926, daughter of the late Rueben and Jessie (Collins) Silverthorn. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
