Obituary of Tom Brunton

Brunton, Thomas Alexander of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, April 17, 2015 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Sandra (Ingram) Brunton. Dear father of Bonnie Brunton of New Castle, DE and Andrew Brunton of Holly Springs , NC. Loved by his grandchildren Blake, Seth and Avery. Brother of Anne Clement (Richard) of Winnipeg, Donald Brunton of Vancouver and Roddy Brunton (Henny) of Scotland. Brother in law of Doreen Dandurand, Marg Ingram, Joan Ingram and Marie Ingram, uncle to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-laws John Ingram, Clifton Ingram and Lewis Ingram. Born in Inverness, Scotland on February 1, 1942 son of the late Andrew and Alice (MacAngus) Brunton. Tom had been a member of Aylmer Lodge # 94 I.O.O.F and the Aylmer Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, coffee with friends, took pride in his Scottish heritage, traded war stories, loved nautical items and old clocks. Dialysis restricted his travel making visits to Canada by son, daughter and grandchildren very special. Tom has been cremated.
