Obituary of Ron Smith

Smith, Ronald of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and family on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Bonnie (Nesbitt) Smith. Loving father of Rick Smith(Angela), Donna Whitcroft, and Rob Smith(Lisa). Special grandpa to Mathew, Andrew, Brittany, Bryce, Jared, Tyler, Joshua, Grace and great-grandpa to Nathan, Emma, and Jayce. Dear brother of Marion Wyatt(Lawrence), John Smith(Marg), Fred Smith(Lynda), Wayne Smith(Deb), Evelyn Metler(Charles), Nancy Todd(Jiggs), and Judy Cook. Brother-in-law of Betty Smith, Karen McKinnon(Jim), Bob Nesbitt(Barb), and Ted Nesbitt. Predeceased by sisters Helen Noble and Virginia Doyle, a brother Jim Smith, in-laws Sam and Opal (Arn) Nesbitt. Born in Malahide Township Ontario on February 17, 1938 son of the late Reginald and Irene (Rowse) Smith. Ron was active in the Springfield Community and a member of Springfield Lions Club. He worked at Ford Talbottville for 33 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
