Halper, Rozalia It is with sad and heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Rozalia Halper, at her residence, Terrace Lodge, Aylmer on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Halper(2005). Loving mother of Edie Vindasius (late Mindy Vindasius 2012) of Aylmer. She will be dearly missed by her grandsons Mark Vindasius(Catarina) and Trent Vindasius. Cherished great-grandmother of Peyton, Quinn and Reed Vindasius. Predeceased by siblings Michael, Steve, Joseph, Sandor, Leslie (infant) and Bela (infant). Born in Cibakháza, Hungary on November 8, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Rozalia Horvath. Rozalia came to Canada in 1956, farmed tobacco and later worked at McConnell Nursery for 27 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and the C.W.L. for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting. She will be remembered for her kind and caring heart. She loved her grandchildren and her great-grandsons the most. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church on Friday February 27, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the Terrace Lodge Aux. or the Aylmer-Malahide Museum would be appreciated.
