Chris. Hugs to you! I know that not much can easy the pain you are feeling right now but know that Skip was always so very proud of you and your sister. He was always saying how he couldn't believe how he could have brought two wonderful girls into this world. He always wanted to share his knowledge with us. I remember watching him straighten nails to be re-used again, and splitting kindling wood into 3 different sizes. We used to joke around as to who could split the smallest, thinnest piece of kindling. He was resourceful, helpful, but most of all he was your Dad, and very proud of you!! Keep this in your heart always.

Chris, I am so sorry for the pain you may be feeling at this time. It is my wish that you might take comfort in knowing how Proud your Father of you and your accomplishments. I saw him just after Christmas, and he told me, "How amazed he was with his Daughter (S) and the way they have connected with people. He said that ""everyone Loves my girls"" He simply could not understand how he could have raised such wonderful women. He gave me a whole other perspective on who he was as a person, that day, as he was my neighbour and I had not known him too well. He did however come out on the balcony to smile at my dog periodically. I believe beneath his exterior, he had a beautiful soul. Blessings to you and Yours.
