Hiemstra, Wytze Peacefully at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 God took home Wytze Hiemstra in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Janny (DeVries) Hiemstra. Dear father of Margaret Driesman and husband Rick of St. Thomas, Rick Hiemstra and wife Cathy of Aylmer, Lynn O'Brien of Aylmer and Charlie Hiemstra and wife Patty of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Joshua, Rachel(Kevin), Katie(Chris), Ken(Ruby), Kurtis, Quinn, Stephanie(Ryan), Stacey(Steve) and Ryan. Also survived by brothers Henry(Ann), John(Christine), sisters-in-law Minnie and Dien and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Andries, Jack and Andy. Born in The Haule, Netherlands on November 11, 1928. Wytze was a craftsman of wood products. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4and 7-9 pm. A private family graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery followed by a public funeral service on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00 am. at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church.
