Obituary of Ed Weesjes

Weesjes, Ed Peacefully at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 with his family by his side, God took home Ed Weesjes in his 93th year. Beloved husband of the late Bertha (Mekking) Weesjes for 63 years. Dear father of Ena and Paul Vanden Brink of Aylmer, Henry and Marian Weesjes of St. Thomas, Albert and Grace Weesjes of Aylmer, Ed and Annette Weesjes of St. Thomas, Betty and Herman Siemens of Belmont, Adrian and Wendy Weesjes of Aylmer. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 6 sisters. Born in Ede, Gelderland The Netherlands on August 26, 1922. Ed was farmer and producer of greenhouse tomatoes at Yarmouth Centre. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery followed by a public funeral service on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 am. at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church.
