Obituary of Arpad Stanka

Stanka, Arpad of Port Bruce passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, November 17, 2014 in his73rd year. Beloved husband of the late Erzsebet "Elizabeth" Stanka(2007). Dear father of Laura McEwen and loving grandfather of Gregory. Predeceased by a son-in-law Greg McEwen. Born in Hungary on January 18, 1942, son of the late Jozsef and Maria (Punk) Stanka. He came to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1978 from Innsbruck Austria. Arpad continued his work that he learned in Austria as a tool and die maker. Arpad and his wife Elizabeth move to the Aylmer area in 2002 to be close to family. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service. Donations to the Aylmer Cemetery would be appreciated.
