Thomas, Russell Wayne of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, November 14, 2014 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Irene (Roberts) Thomas. Dear father of Sheila Wright(Mark) of Woodstock, Vickie Smith(Al) of Tillsonburg, Ken Thomas(Deb) of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Melissa, Josh, Keri-Lynn, Rebecca, Katie, Kelly, Kurtis, Aaron and number of great-grandchildren. Born in St. Thomas on August 10, 1937, son of the late Maxine Thomas. Russ operated a terra-gator with Belmont Farm Supply. He was a fireman with Malahide Fire Dept. #2 for 31 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
