Obituary of Douglas Wales

Wales, Douglas Harold of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thusday, November 13, 2014 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Margaret Ann (Walterhouse) Wales. Dear father of Sandy(Art), Mary Catherine(Ray) and the late Douglas. Survived by a sister of Mary Lou and a brother Don. Predecceased by brothers James, Robert and Larry. Also survived by nephews Mark and Scott Wales and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Mersea Township on January 15, 1929, son of the late Burns and Margurite Wales. Doug was a tobacco farmer on Carter Side Rd. east of Aylmer and a member of the Aylmer Shrine Club. He lived and worked in Texas for a number of years as a landscaper and help build golf courses. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 1-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 11:00 am. Cremation with burial in Aylmer Cemetery.
