Obituary of Irene Prong

Prong, Irene passed away peacefully at Valleyview Home, St. Thomas on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in her 94th year. Dear sister of Mary Mossey of Aylmer and the late Jack Prong. Loving aunt of Vicki Hull(Will Mulder), Rick Prong(Marilyn), Mike Prong(Shelley), Barry Ker(Debra), Tom Ker, Jill Underhill(Lewy) and the late Bob Ker(Cathy) and the late Judith Ker. Also survived by a number of great-nieces and great-nephews. Born in Malahide Township on February 25, 1921, daughter of the late John and Alice (Lewis) Prong. Predeceased by a sister-in-law Bette Prong and a brother-in-law Don Mossey. Irene was a hairdresser in Aylmer and worked for Harry Gunstone Shoe Store in the 1960's. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church . Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 1 pm Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
