Obituary of Shirley Brooks

Brooks, Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, June 19, 2008. Shirley Jean Brooks of Springfield in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Wayne "Bud" Brooks (1994). Dear mother of Karen Brooks of Springfield and Patty Jedriak and husband John of R.R.# 3 Tillsonburg. Loved by her grandchildren Candice Jedriak and Justin Jedriak. Sister of Albert Scratch of Kingsville, Doug Scratch of Kingsville, and Donald Scratch of Quebec. Predeceased by a brother Murray Scratch and a sister Aggie Scratch. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Kingsville Ontario on September 12, 1930 daughter of the late George and Maude (Ware) Scratch. Shirley lived most of her life in Springfield. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment, of ashes Springfield Cemetery.
