Obituary of Frank Babcock

Babcock, at home on Sunday, April 8, 2012. Frank Babcock of Springfield, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Edith "May" Babcock (2001). Cherished father of Kathryn Babcock, George and wife Margaret Babcock, Ronald and wife Pam Babcock, Dennis and wife Coral Babcock, Janet Irwin, Glenn and wife Brenda Babcock, Joanne and husband Scott Davis, Randall and wife Leona Babcock. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Frank will be missed by a brother Charlie Babcock and sisters in-law Murial Brandow (Bill), Eva McFadden (Jack), Evelyn Henderson (Gerald) and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by children Jeanne Coffey, Robert and Susan Babcock, a grandaughter Tracy VanVelzer and 3 sisters. Born in Yarmouth Township on November 9, 1923 son of the late Alfred and Eva (Robbins) Babcock. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Interment Springfield Cemetery. Rev Norman Jones officiating.
