Obituary of Bill Pettit

Pettit, William Clive "Bill" of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, October 17, 2014 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of the late Jantje " Jane" Pettit(2013). Dear father of Bill, Doug, Johanna(Dan King) and Jamie(Abe Harder) all of Aylmer. Loving grandfather of Hayden, Lyncoln and Phoenix. Also survived by a sister-in-law Dorothy and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Pete, sisters Sally, Jackie and Helen. Born in St. Thomas Ontario on November 30, 1939, Bill was a Heavy Equiptment Operator with the Township of Malahide and served in the Canadian Army for 26 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
