Obituary of Emery Rowe

Rowe, Emery Gerald of London passed away at London Health Science Centre-University Campus on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Patricia (Stafford) Rowe. Dear father of Nancy McCurdy(Dale) of Aylmer, Paul Rowe(Karen) of Barrie, Alan Rowe(Anita) of Calgary and Brian Rowe(Karen) of London. Loving grandfather of Neil, Catherine, Leanne, Scott, Craig, Brent, Laura, Jessica, Matthew(Victoria) and Samantha. Predeceased by a brother, Beverly Rowe. He was a longtime member of the Aylmer Curling Club. Emery was a lover of music and played the trumpet in dance bands in his youth. He was a graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and a teacher at EESS for many years. His great joy was his family and the cottage up North at Manitouwabing Lake. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11:00 am.
