James, Maurice Lorne of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Myna (Davies) James. Dear father of Brenda Barker (Paul) of Strathroy and Sheila Tripp (Jeff) of Tillsonburg. Loved by his grandchildren Jeremy (Gillian) Barker, Tiffany Barker (Neville Joanes), Kimberly Barker (fiancé Alex) Calla Tripp and Robin Tripp. Great grandfather of Tristan, Lee, and Grace. Brother-in-law of Audrey James. Predeceased by his brother Stanley James and sister Marjorie Lockey and brother-in-law Silas Lockey. Born in Bayham Township Ontario on October 21, 1926, son of the late Lorne and Lily (Bearss) James. Maurice was a Salesman, a member of the Aylmer Baptist Church, the Aylmer Kinsmen Club, Aylmer and Area Community Foundation and a past President of the Aylmer Rotary Club a member of the Aylmer Fair Board, the Aylmer Curling Club and an active member of the Conservative Party of Canada. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday October 4, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
