Our family has so many fond memories of Betty and the family from years ago when we were neighbours. Betty was a special lady who made friends easily and made you feel welcome to her life. My mom still uses a sweater she knit for her. I still remember songs that she taught in music class. These memories will be with us always, we'll have a good laugh, sometimes shed a few tears but we are so glad that we got to know Betty. Our prayers are with you as a family. With our love, Hilda, Erma, Stella and our mom Helen Dyck

I remember Betty as the music teacher in the same school where I taught. She was a talented lady. My memories also go back to 4H days when I spent time at the Prong farm for the 4H club and Lynda spent time at the Barbier home with my sister Louise. My sympathy to all of you.

Betty became a good friend to us when we moved to Aylmer and she will be sadly missed. She was a wonderful, caring and loving person. She spoke often of all her family, she was very proud of all of you and loved you unconditionally. We were touched by Bettys warm and caring ways and she will always have a spot in our hearts. We are better people for knowing her.

Dear Bonnie, Steven and family. Your mom (Betty-Lou) was a wonderful person to have known. Although she was never my teacher at school I always felt the teacher in her, either when she was explaining how to cook fish, play a game or doing handy work. We feel so fortunate to have known her and grateful to have one of her Tamari balls as a lasting memory. Our thoughts are with you, Love,Linda and family

Bonnie and family We wish to extend our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mother. Life is never the same when a parent is no longer with you and we are very sorry for the hardship that you have been and are experiencing. We remember Betty for her many artistic talents and her love of animals both domestic and wild. We still have a cloth puppet of Ralphie the Raccoon that she made and have a very vivid memory of the rips in our car upholstery that the real Ralphie made while being transported:) Betty could make a pet from most little creatures that she came in contact with and enjoyed them immensely. We can share the memories again when we see each other next. Please know that we are thinking of you and your family. In sympathy, Dale and Ron Bleier

I am sure Betty-Lou and my mom are discussing Tamari Ball techniques somewhere. What a wonderful artistic gift she had. They are probably also discussing that nasty 'C' word that took them way, way too early out of our lives. I wish Betty-Lou a peaceful journey to wherever she has gone, and I wish all of those who knew and loved her the most happiest of memories.
