Obituary of May Jones

Jones, May Doreen at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, March 30, 2012 in her 93rd year. May was a longtime resident of Aylmer and Springfield. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Jones(1983). Dear mother of Robert Jones and his wife Lois of St.Thomas. Mother -in-law of Helen Jones and sister of Jack Byers. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Arthur(Sonny) Jones, daughters Betty Drader and Rita Khoury, brothers Frank Byers, Walter Byers, sisters Mabel Ainsworth, Norma Ludlow and Frances McDonald. Born in Brantford on October 5, 1919 daughter of the late Roy and Annie (Evans) Byers. May worked at Imperial Tobacco and tobacco harvest for many years. She was a member of the Terrace Lodge Drop-in-Centre. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
