Obituary of Stan Gavey

Gavey, Stanley at Parkwood Hospital, London on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Stanley was a longtime resident of Aylmer and is survived by a daughter Deborah Gavey of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, brothers Bud Gavey(Dianne) and James Gavey(rachael), a sister Eunice Chipchase and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers George, Donald and Raymond Gavey. Proud grandfather of 4 grandchildren. Born in South Dorchester Twp. Ontario on July 29, 1923 son of the late Cecil and Elsie (Carrel) Gavey. Stan served in WWII and was a member of Col. Talbot Branch 81 of the Royal Canadian Legion for 65 years. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Monday 7-9 p.m. Legion Service Monday at 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, July 29 at 11 am. Interment Aylmer Cemetery.
