Obituary of Andy Versnick

Versnick, Andre "Andy" of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of 57 years of Dorothy (Rabaey) Versnick. Dear father of Danny and wife Lynne, Michael and partner Nancy, David and wife Shirley and Laurie Wilson and husband Todd all of Aylmer. Loving Papa of Daryl, Heather and husband Jamie, Matthew, Dustin and wife Jacklyn, Devin, Brenden and Rayah. Great Papa of Jordan, Abi, Cole and Ashlyn. Brother to Julien Versnick and wife Albertine. Born in Simcoe Ontario on July 29, 1934, son of the late Alfonse and Eliza (Cools) Versnick. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Andy grew tobacco for 65 years. He wintered in Deerfield Beach Florida for a number of years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 1:45 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 am.
