Obituary of Betty Legg

Legg, Betty Irene of R.R.# 3 St. Thomas passed away at Chartwell Home Nursing Home on Friday, July 18, 2014 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Bev Legg (2012). Dear mother of Charles Legg (Cary) of Chatham, and Marlene Anne Berry (Ron) of Aylmer. Loved by her grandchildren Melisa Bishop (David), Amanda Hall (Mathew), David Legg (fiance Megan Copp) and Julie Legg (friend Taylor MacGregor). Also survived by a number of great grandchildren. Sister of Dorothy Quick (Derwin) of Brantford and Verna Jean Moore (John) of R.R.# 3 St.Thomas. Born in Aylmer Ontario on September 17, 1932 daughter of the late Harold"Lefty" and Jean (Betterly) Burgess. Betty had lived most of her life in the area. She was an R.N.A. , a member of Yarmouth Centre United Church and had been a sunday school teacher. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Monday July 21, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
