Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Betty. It has been a long time since I have seen her, but my memories of her are fond ones. My mother was a good friend of Bettys' sister, Pat. Both Pat and Betty spent time at our house when, I hate to admit, we were all much younger. The times then were, as I remember, alot of fun. I can remember Mike and the kids and John and Pats kids all gathered for an impromptu "party" at my Mom and Dads. Once again my sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you. John Savage

Dear Mike, Kelly, Karen and Families, I am so sorry about your loss. I am shocked, as I am sure you all are, and saddened that Betty is no longer with us. There are many people in this world that you just think will live forever, and in my eyes Betty was one of them. I have fond memories of sitting with Betty and watching baseball games while Mike and Brian (Cross) played. We had some fun times together at games, (freezing our 'buns' off at times), at tournaments and at other gatherings. I hope your memories of your wife, and mom, will keep you all strong and help you through this very sad time. To all, I'm sorry I can't be there with you today & tomorrow, I have a rotten cold & I'm keeping my germs at home. Please know that we are all grieving with you as there is nothing greater than losing a wife, mother & grandmother. I think that God loved Betty & all of you so much that he spared all of you the pain & suffering that would have been ahead for Betty, & her family, with treatments, nausea, pain, difficulty breathing etc. God took Betty to a better place where she will be free of pain & suffering.
