Obituary of Germaine deRyk

deRyk, Germaine of Aylmer passed away at Extendicare, London on Thursday, June 26, 2014 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Paul H. deRyk Sr.(1981). Dear mother of Joseph deRyk and wife Ann of RR5, Aylmer, Paul deRyk and wife Carol of Aylmer, Robert deRyk and wife Patricia of London, Mary Wells and husband Mike of London and the late Betty Davidson (2007). Also survived by a son-in-law Barry Davidson, a sister-in-law Jacoba, 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Jules Libbrecht and a sister Lia Herman. Born in Cuerne, Belgium on November 19, 1916, daughter of the late Alfons and Julienne Libbrecht. Germaine was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, the CWL and a former member of the Queen of Peace Cemetery Board and the Catholic School Board. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the prayers will be held Friday at 3:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
