Obituary of Emil Neukamm
Neukamm, Emil of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2014 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of 58 years of Frieda (Kebbel) Neukamm. Dear father of Rita Rupar(Tony) of London, Karin Barrie(Bob Rimnyak) of Aylmer and Fred Neukamm(Nancy) of Aylmer. Loving and proud grandfather of Paul(Krysten), Carolyn(Ted), Ian, Emily(Jordan), William, Ian, Alison, Katharine, Olivia, Samantha, Isabelle and great-grandfather of Ewan. Also survived by sisters Hilda Tellers(Horst), Greta Westbrooke(Don), a sister-in-law Anita Gerstenkorn(Ed) and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a brother-in-law Arwid Kebbel(Jenni) and a son-in-law Michael Scarrow(1990). Born in Lithuania on March 26, 1931, son of the late Joseph and Adele (Albrecht) Neukamm. Emil was a dedicated and faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was a tobacco and beef farmer and a member of the German Canadian Club. Emil was Reeve of Malahide Township and served on council for many years. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the STEGH Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
