Obituary of Jan Bruinsma

Bruinsma, Jan of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Antje "Ann" (Medema) Bruinsma and the late Coby (Bylsma) Bruinsma. Dear father of Calvin Bruinsma of Edmonton, Richard Bruinsma(Syndy) of Brockville, Liz Miller of Edmonton and Peter Bruinsma(Jennifer) of Edmonton. Step-father of Nicole Ensing(Mike) of Guelph, Esther Schletz(Fred) of Guelph, Sonja Dennis(Tony) of London and Jennifer Baker(Jason) of Guelph. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brother of Dirk(Willy), Lieuwe(Fia), Sylvia, Bert (Rita), Simon(Mina), Anne(Ted) and Hank(Ruth). Born in the Netherlands, son of the late Jan and Inkje Bruinsma. Born in Gaasterland The Netherlands on September 11, 1942 Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 10:00 am. Cremation will follow.
