Obituary of Walter Moritz

Moritz, Walter of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, April 7, 2014 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Hilda (Wischnewski) Moritz. Dear father of Heidi Van Overloop and husband Carl of RR2, Aylmer. Loving step-grandfather of Matthew and Nicholas. Also survived by a number of in-laws, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Kathe Riedel. Born in Lithuania on October 25, 1925, son of the late Karl and Martha (Danner) Moritz. Walter was a tobacco farmer at RR5, Aylmer for many years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the German Canadian Club. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 am.
