Obituary of Ken McNeil

McNeil, Kenneth Douglas 1923 - 2014 passed away peacefully at Meadow Park, London on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in his 91st year. Although he will be missed greatly, Dad has been looking forward to the day when he could join the love of his life Margaret (Brown) McNeil who predeceased him in 2007. Ken was born on December 16, 1923, son of the late Lorne and Mary (Campbell) McNeil and spent his life farming on Mapleton Line. Dear father of Mary Jane Stover and husband Carl of R.R.#1, Belmont, Don McNeil and wife Donna of London, Ron J. McNeil of R.R.#2, Springfield and Marna Caskanette and husband Rick of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Bryan Stover, Stephen Stover(Gioia), Brenda Pham( Ken), Darrell McNeil(Catherine), Jason Caskanette(Voula) and Dan Caskanette. Great-grandfather of Christopher, Nathan, Serena, Ashley, Alyssa and Constantin. Also survived by his sister Jean Bell of Kitchener and brother-in-law Bill Mathews of Vienna and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Robina Finch and Kathleen Mathews. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 am.
