Obituary of Ruth Kristoff

Kristoff, Ruth Freda of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, March 20, 2014 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Fred Kristoff and dear mother of Wayne Kristoff and wife Mary Ann of London, Karen Palmer and husband Dave of RR7, Aylmer and Wendy Hiepleh and husband Wayne of RR7, Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Geof(Nicole), Katie(Ryan), Kristoffer(Melody), Matthew(Maria), Megan(Justin), Trevor(Liz). Great Grandmother of Adie, Tess, Oliver, Norah, Kaleigh, Maddy, Andrew and Amelia. Predeceased by her Brother Fred Martin(2004). Born in Malahide Township on October 10, 1928, daughter of the late Benjamin and Ethel (Bennett) Martin. Ruth and her husband Fred worked together throughout the years. They were very active in the community and in their rose gardens. They designed and sold cemetery memorials for many years and took great pride in caring for their customers. She was an avid rose grower and received countless awards for her roses. Ruth was a member of the German Canadian Club, Trinity Anglican Church and the Aylmer Fair Board. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
