Obituary of Corny Thiessen

Thiessen, Cornelius "Corny" as the result of a automobile accident on Hwy 19 in Zorra Township, Cornelius passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in his 30th year. Beloved husband of Helena (Klassen) Thiessen. Loving father of Alexander, Joshua and Kayleigh. Dear son of Henry and Gertruda (Wiebe) Thiessen and son-in-law of Peter and Nancy Klassen. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Susanna Bergen and husband Henry, Elizabeth Epp and husband John, Tina Neufeld and husband Johnny, Gertruda Bergen and husband Jacob, Margaret Bergen and husband Franz and his brother-in-law Peter Klassen and wife Anna. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Corny worked at Elgin Contracting and Restoration in St. Thomas. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 3:00 pm. from the Old Colony Mennonite Church, Dingle Street, Aylmer.
