Thiessen, Elizabeth of Aylmer passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Frank Thiessen. Dear mother of Martha Giesbrecht and husband Ben of RR3, St. Thomas, Ed Thiessen and wife Koanita of Windsor, Wil Thiessen and wife Monika of St. Thomas and Len Thiessen and wife Lindsay of Windsor. Loving grandmother of Jarred, Darrin, Tristan, Felicia, Tiffany, Vanessa, Liam, Levi and Lukas. Sister of Tina, Abe, Neta, Mary, Margaret, David, Trudy, Jake, Ben, John, Susan, Anna and Lena. Also survived by a number of in-laws, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Cornelius. Born in Mexico on July 26, 1941, daughter of the late Abram and Elizabeth (Tiechroeb) Friesen. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Bradley Street Church of God, Aylmer on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
