Obituary of Herman Bremer

Bremer, Herman Jacob of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of 48 years of Margaret (Dykxhoorn) Bremer. Loving brother of Jane Devries and husband David, Reinie Marissen and husband Rev. Henry and Coby (Kers) Devries and husband Henry. Brother-in-law of Dick and Nellie Dykxhoorn, Jack and Hermina Dykxhoorn, Tina Dykxhoorn and Corrie Dykxhoorn. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Tony and Louis Dykxhoorn and Henry Kers. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Hoogeveen The Netherlands on July 3, 1933, son of the late John and Mary Bremer. Herman was a dedicated member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church where he was custodian for a number of years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
