Van Gurp, Jacobus "Jack" "The Lord in His mercy and grace, in His appointed time and providence has taken to Himself, Jack Van Gurp, peacefully at his residence, R.R.1, Aylmer on Monday, March 5, 2012 in his 86th year." Dear brother of Nellie Van Gurp, Gerrie Saarloos, Ida Janssen and husband George, Harry Van Gurp and wife Jane, Casper Van Gurp and wife Gretha, Neil Van Gurp and wife Theresa. Also survived by a sister-in-law Wilma Van Gurp and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Margaret Kaastra, Maria Van Gurp, a brother Jake Van Gurp, brothers-in-law Floor Saarloos and Jack Kaastra. Born in Middelharnis The Netherlands on September 15, 1926 son of the late Casper and Ida (Koppenaal) Van Gurp. Jack was a farmer at R.R.1, Brownsville for many years and a member of Bethel United Reformed Church, Aylmer. Visitation at the Bethel United Reformed Church, 49823 Talbot Line, Aylmer Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held at the Church on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 11:00 am.
