Obituary of Harold Rodgers

Rodgers, Harold Robert of RR1, Eden passed away at Kensington Village, London on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in his 84th year. Loving partner of Norma (Jukes) Horeth. Dear father of Dennis Rodgers and wife Marla of Richmond Hill, Danny Rodgers of Hamilton, Richard and Matthew Holmes. Grandfather of Joel, Evan(Kirby), Lyndsey and Jennifer. Great grandfather of Alexis. Brother of Evelyn Holditch. He will be sadly missed by Linda(Nathan), Laurie(John), Carol(Ron), Amanda, Brandy and Kyle. Predeceased by brothers Marvin, Howard and Alfred Rodgers, sisters Leila Smith, Inez Jones, Edna Carter and Verna Gaudin. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Calton on December 17, 1930, son of the late James Isaac and Mary Eva (Howick) Rodgers. He was an Electrical Contractor in St. Thomas from 1956 - 1972 and he worked in maintenance at Imperial Tobacco from 1974 -1995. Harold enjoyed boating on Lake Erie. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Elmdale Cemetery.
