Obituary of Joyce Ward

Ward, Joyce of Aylmer passed away at Chateau Gardens, Aylmer on Friday October 25, 2013 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Ward (2012) Dear mother of Beverly Perry(Barry Anderson) of Straffordville, Susan Brown(Hugh) of Aylmer, Terry Ward(Tracy) of Red Deer Alberta, Cathy Ward(Dave Stradeski) of Aylmer and Pat Malo(John) of Chatham. Loved by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Predeceased by a grandson Chad Perry. Born in Malahide Township, Ontario on September 10, 1934, daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel (Kennedy) Holdtich and step-daughter of the late Earl Simmons. Joyce had lived at R.R.# 1 Straffordville, Pt.Burwell, Chatham and the last 3 years in Aylmer. She was a loving mother, homemaker, a member of the Chatham Optimist Club for over 20 years and she had volunteered with Meals on Wheels and with the auxilliary of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
