Obituary of Raymond Schaeffer

Schaeffer, Raymond Gerald of St. Thomas passed away at London Health Science Centre-Victoria Hospital on Friday, October 18, 2013 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Bell) Schaeffer. Dear father of Lynn Sullivan(Dan), Kathy Moyes(Tim Sullivan), Trudy Wilson(Steve) and Fred Schaeffer(Sunita). Loving grandfather of Justin, Jason, Shane, Quinn, Becky, Jessica, Holly, Tyler, Chad, Elisa and Christopher. Brother of Marlene Horley(Clarence). Born in Detroit Michigan on August 14, 1932 son of the late Fred and Phyllis (Eden) Schaeffer. Ray was was an avid fan of Standardbred Horse Racing. He ran the Deli Wagon on Talbot Street in St. Thomas for a number of years. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
