Obituary of Peter Axelson

AXELSON - Peter Wayne passed away on Monday, September 30th, 2013 at his home in Aylmer. Born in Thunder Bay Ontario on June 1, 1940. He is survived by his loving wife wife of 48 years Linda (Ward) and loved by his children Dawn Goble (Mike) of Lakefield, Ontario and WayneAxelson (Sharon) of Douglas Wyoming. He is also survived by his 3 precious grandchildren Drew, Abby and Blake. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Ann (Hedvall) Axelson and his siblings Barbara (Hugh) Macpherson, Betty Lou (George) Leyland and Dr. Dean (Judy) Axelson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Peter was a life member of the Aylmer Optimist Club and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion , Aylmer. He enjoyed his family and friends at the cottage at Stoney Creek. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday, October 3 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday Oct. 4 at 11:00 a. m. Interment Aylmer Cemetery.
