Obituary of Rose Marie Grindon

GRINDON GRINDON Peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, February 9, 2008. Rose Marie Grindon of Aylmer in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Grindon(1999). Dear mother of John Grindon and wife Stephanie of Vancouver, Rob Grindon and wife Tina of St. Thomas and Karen Crawford and husband Robert of Acton. Loving grandmother of Courtney, Jennifer, Reve and Choral. Also survived by brothers Ralph Lascelles and wife Jean, Joe Lascelles and wife Clemy, Henry Lascelles and wife Joyce; sisters Jean Kelly and husband Jim, Lea Everett and husband Alf and Lorraine Ducharme and husband Donald; sisters-in-law Hazel and Simone Lascelles and a number of nieces and nephews. Preceased by brothers Art, Dave and a sister Simone. Born in Toronto on September 18, 1926 daughter of the late David and Aurore (Laporte) Lascelles. Rose was a resident of Aylmer since 1954, a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church and CWL. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be held on Monday at 8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 11:00 am.
