Obituary of Delia Young

Young, Delia Hazel passed away at her residence, Caressant Care, Mary Buck St., St. Thomas on Friday, September 20, 2013 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Alexander Young(1994). Dear mother of Jean Knight and husband Tom of Chatham. Loving grandmother of David Knight and wife Tanya Harris and Margaret Gough and husband David. Great grandmother of Keira, Gavin, Alex and Lauren. Also survived by a brother Norbert "Bert" McCallum and wife Norma, a sister-in-law Margaret McCallum and a number of nieces and nephews. Delia was predeceased by her brothers James, Delbert (Hi), and Alvin (Tom), sisters Marjorie Blakley and Celia McCallum. Born in Malahide Township Ontario on June 27, 1918, daughter of the late James and Ida (Hosner) McCallum. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 11:00 am. with visitation one hour prior. Interment, Dorchester Union Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
