Obituary of Bob Bartlett

Bartlett, Robert (Bob) a resident of R.R.# 1 Vienna passed away peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on Monday February 27, 2012, in his 63rd year. His love and companionship will be sadly missed by his wife of 42 years Wendy (Hambly) Bartlett. A loving father to his children Mark Bartlett (Lori), Daryl Bartlett, Allison Adams(Stephen). Proud grandpa to Matthew and Nicholas.Survived by his sister Marilyn Bartlett, sister-in-law Barb Bartlett and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Fern (Chute) Bartlett , a brother Douglas and a sister Joanne. He will be remembered as a man with a good sense of humour, a calming demeanour and a great love and pride for his family and his accomplishments. If riches could be measured in friends, then Bob was surely rich. Bob grew up and lived in Bayham all his life. He was a dedicated employee of the Municipality of Bayham for 35 years on the roads department, 12 of which were served as Roads Superintendent. He was a long time member of the Vienna Masonic Lodge and served as a volunteer fireman on the Straffordville Fire Department. Family and friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 7-9 pm and on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Friday March 2, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment Straffordville Cemetery. There will be a Masonic Lodge Service 6:30pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations to Camp Trillium or London Health Science Centre Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
