Obituary of Bernard Bueckert

Bueckert, Bernard of Aylmer passed away peacefully with family by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, September 6, 2013, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 57 years of Helena (Sawatzky) Bueckert. Dear father of the late Ben Bueckert(1956), the late Susie Fehr(1997), Tina Hiebert and husband John of Belize, Neil Bueckert of R.R.6, Aylmer, Ben Bueckert and wife Anne of St. Thomas, and Lena Wall and husband Jake of Vienna. He will be sadly missed by brothers Abe and Jake Bueckert, sisters Helena Banman, Katharina Bergen and Aganetha Krahn, and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on October 24, 1930, son of the late Bernhard and Katharina (Neufeld) Bueckert. He is remembered fondly for his love of Scripture, family, bowling, and horticulture. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the EMMC Summers Corners on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 1:00 pm.
